Mookah · 2019 — Present
Japanese cuisine with an exceptional bar
Positioning a unique dining experience in Caracas — from the first logo to a 110K-strong community.

01 — The brief
The brief
Back in 2019, Mookah came to us before even opening the doors of their first venue in La Trinidad. They needed to start from zero: a brand, a visual voice, operational stationery, and a digital presence that connected. The challenge was clear — position a premium Japanese cuisine and signature cocktail concept in a Caracas that already had Japanese options, but none with their proposition.
02 — The approach
The approach
We took on the project as an extended team of the restaurant. We built the full brand system: identity, graphic manual, operational stationery, and menu structures. The engine of the positioning was content: every dish, every cocktail, every night at the bar — photographed and filmed to feed an Instagram that felt more like a food culture magazine than a digital menu.
Branding from scratch
We designed the full visual identity: logo, typography, palette, and an operational manual the Mookah team could apply day to day. Every piece of stationery, menu, drink list, and POP material grew from that system.
Photo production
Recurring on-location sessions to capture the food, the cocktails, and the room. Imagery always aligned with the brand's visual direction — no generic filters, no manufactured mood the place doesn't actually have.
Media & community
Content strategy, monthly editorial calendar, community management, and paid media. The feed went from showcase to meeting point: seven years in, an active community of over 110,000 followers who book, comment, and come back.
